Enjoying using just the basic tools of a pencil, knife and paper I'm developing a collection papercuts.
These are some of the first experimental pieces based on old drawings in my sketch book.
All my glass designs start life as a drawing followed by a stencil, but the stencils have to be discarded after sandblasting. The process of creating my glass becomes complex as it often requires processes over which I have no control, such as toughening, polishing and double glazing. I am therefore drawn to the simplicity of being able to create imagery using a few tools in my hands and hope that it will lead my work in new directions.
